Lucky Duck Espresso

On our way to Southbank, we stopped by at Lucky Duck Espresso having heard positive reviews on their coffee. Lucky Duck is one of those cafes with its own unique personality and indeed, a very colouful and vibrant one! The interior decor is fun and inviting!
It really is a small space and the beverage list is short with coffee drinks being the highlight. Mr food hunter manges to spot The Canadian Bomb Milkshake which comprises of Espresso, Maple Syrup, Banana and Chocolate. Miss food hunter stuck to her cappuccino. All to go!

A simple blackboard menu of light breakfast and lunch delights! There was also The Halouminator which is a Bacon & Egg Muffin with haloumi, tomato and avocado.

They do serve the The Canadian Bomb in a huge tall metal cup but as it was to go, it was poured into 2 styrofoam cups instead. Bananas were not available that day but the milkshake still tasted great with crunchy bits of bitter espresso beans and a right consistency without being overly sweet. A must try!!

Beans are Genovese and the Cappuccnio was alright with a tad of bitterness. Miss food hunter loves quirky cafes like these and will be back one day for their Spanish Toast....basil ricotta & sourdough...sounds simply-city good ; )
