Evo Espresso

Spotted Evo on beanhunter.com sometime ago and since we were around the vicinity we thought we'd pop by after breakfast. Evo is a smallish cafe focusing primarily on coffee and light offerings such as banana bread types and sandwiches on their menu (none when we visited on a sunday though).

We had a Cappuccino and an Iced Mocha Frappe. The foam of the capp was rich and frothy, the organic beans provided a taste which was unlike other cafes, with a touch of good bitterness. We are not coffee conoisseurs but we do enjoy a bold aromatic cuppa and can certainly tell apart a good coffee from a bad one!

The Iced Mocha Frappe tasted like it had soy milk in it for some reason. The frappe was not the least bit sweet and had a distinct nuttyness. Not bad!

If you are around Yeronga, do drop by for a takeaway or soak outside under the early morning sun!

  2. Haha yeah! Good that the cool weather has kicked in and Winter coming on, that would most certainly trigger warm coffee cravings more than once a day! Looks like more visits to all of these surburban cafes!
