Archive Beer Boutique Take 2

Archive's Schnitzle is really popular amongst the diners and we see why...THE SCHINITZ comprises of a large, moist, tender chicken breast deep-fried to perfection and served with creamy, chunky mushroom sauce and crispy thick-cut beer battered chips. It really is a very hearty dish...Burrrrrp!

Miss food hunter went for the Pan-fried Octopus Greek style with Olives and a drizzle of sweet balsamic. These bite-sized morsels of octopus tentacles were very tender and there were plenty of black & green olives with it. I felt the stir-fried marriage of olives and octopus to be a little queer and i'd prefer to eat them seperately. A generous squeeze of lemon really helped to dumb down the over-whelming taste of olives.

The Limited Edition Burleigh Hef was on tap about 3 weeks ago and when we returned last week, there were only bottles of 'em. Miss food hunter who isn't quite a beer fan likes the Hef for its light, refreshing & somewhat tropical taste...ladies do give this a go!

There is a new winter menu out now, looks good and The Schnitz still available.....; )
